The screams still echoed in your ears, even as the thick canopy of the forest swallowed the last vestiges of the burning village behind you. Breathless, ragged, fueled only by horror and a hopeless reaction for survival, you plunged deeper into the tangled mess of trees and brushwood. The strange Grimm, unlike any kind of you had seen before, with their unsettling silence and unrelenting rate, were a problem made reveal. Every snapped twig, every rustle of leaves, sent a jolt of ice via your blood vessels-- they were hunting you, and the regarded safety and security of the woods offered little comfort against their unnerving perseverance. Wherefore seemed like days, you stumbled via the wilderness, the gnawing cravings in your belly matched only by the cool knot of fear, entirely lost and entirely alone.
